General Description and Construction
The "Wrap-Around" drum heaters are designed with durable spring loaded toggle clamps to insure high clamping pressure, while flexible enough for one person to attach and remove ... adjustable for normal drum dimension variation. Multiple heaters may be applied to a single drum for quicker or unusual heating requirements. Heaters are constructed of rust and corrosion resistant stainless or galvanized steel.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
The unit is designed to allow quick transfer of such viscous materials as tar, adhesive, chocolate, molasses, paraffin, tallow, various petroleum products, etc. from standard 55, 30 or 5 gallon steel containers.

The Delta heater is placed around the drum or straight-side pail and is held secure by a spring-loaded toggle clamp that is adjustable for a snug fit.

Each heater is designed to spread heat over the optimum effective area of drum or pail surface. Mica electrical insulation speeds transmission of heat to the drum. Availability of two different types of controls permits the user to fit the heater to a specific application. This is important, because various materials have different heat transmissions and reaction characteristics.

Neon pilot light indicates when units ON. Each heater includes compact contoured control box, improved clamping hardware and attached 6 foot power cord with a three conductor plug for grounding.

DELTA drum and pail heaters manufactured in 220/240 volts will be supplied with a 72" SJO power cord.
